As the trade deadline approaches, the Yanks need to put their focus to pitching. Rumors swirling they are talking with the Reds about Bronson Arroyo. I would do that in a heartbeat. Arroyo has been in the heat of a pennant race and seems to be cool under pressure. The Yanks have stated reportedly that a deal isn't close.
The bullpen seems to be coming together and they may be able to grab a reliever in August, if needed.
After pitching is taken care of the team may look at picking up a vet bench OF role player. With Gardner on the DL, theyre down to 4 outfielders and could use a veteran to not only to play the field, but to add some veteran depth to the bench.

Agreed 100%
Look at the Giants, worst team assembled on the history of the planet yet their pitching has them 2 games out of the wild card.

no, he isnt going anywhere, IMO. Riccardi set a deadline of today and I thinkj he'll stick too it. he's playing it smart- you dont have to trade him this year stick out for th top prospects and if it doesnt work, then work on an off season deal
